Bowes' Inner Tubes are the highest quality. US made tubes available. All tubes offer these great features: Through the use of a highly specialized rubber-faced splicing technique, Bowes Inner Tubes are able to withstand the stresses of flexing and stretching which occurs during normal service. The butyl compound used in Bowes' tubes produces a high level of resistance to air penetration. The Bowes Inner Tubes are designed to fit snugly inside the tire. This compact fit actually may increase tire life through reduced tube chafing and thinning. An automatic weighing system results in a uniform mixture for a 'top blend' of materials. Bowes' tube formulas are blended in large capacity units which allow for a thorough mixing process. A high quality tube is the end result. In addition to the sixty production line inspectors, the finished Bowes Inner Tubes undergo three separate examinations: a visual inspection, vacuum testing, and a final inspection during packaging.
